EPIC wins Emerald Award

November 2011

The Eugene Chamber of Commerce awarded the 2011 Emerald Award for Innovation to Educational Policy Improvement Center (EPIC) at the 8th Annual Emerald Awards on November 1.

The Innovation award “honors existing businesses that have enhanced or re-invented their products, services, or practices through the successful implementation of innovative ideas.” EPIC is a University of Oregon spinout, having grown out of research performed at UO’s Center for Educational Policy Research.

UO’s Technology Transfer Services invites you to join us for the next Innovation Management Workshop:

The “O”s of Sharing: Options, Obligations, and Opportunities

Whether you are sharing research tools, know-how, software, or digital works, you should know about the three “O”s of sharing with others. Join us at this workshop to learn about tools for managing sharing, when to use which one, and items for consideration when sharing with others. At the presentation, you will also meet the T
TS staff who are here to assist you with sending and receiving research materials through material transfer, data use, and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements.

When: Tuesday May 21^st at 3:00 PM

Where: Walnut Room at the EMU (across from the old post office)

The workshop is free and open to the UO community, but space is limited so reservations are requested. Please RSVP to Evey Lennon at evey@uoregon.edu by May 17^th. Light snacks will be provided.
