- Event Date:10/30/2013
Wednesday, October 30th from 11am-1:30pm in the River Rooms of the EMU
As part of October Research Month, please join us for a two-part patent presentation by Innovation Partnership Services. The first hour (11:00am-12:00pm) will be a primer on patents intended for those with little knowledge of the patent process who want to know when, how, and why patents are used in the Innovation Ecosystem. After a catered lunch break (12:00pm-12:30pm), the second hour (12:30pm-1:30pm) will continue with a presentation on more advanced patent topics, with focus on Prior Art scope under the recently enacted America Invents Act, and strategies for research academics to navigate. Attendees are invited to one or both sessions and lunch.
Presentation is free and open to the UO community, but reservations are requested as lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP to Evey Lennon, email@example.com or 541-346-3176 by Friday, October 25th.
